Sunday Mirror Victory Campaign: I was moved to see that so many

I WOULD like to thank the Sunday Mirror for supporting the National Pensioners Convention and their campaign to achieve justice for millions of pensioners.

I helped carry over half a million signatures to Buckingham Palace last Tuesday morning and it was truly overwhelming to see how many people, despite dreadful weather and difficulties of travel, managed to attend the rally.

The rally left no-one in any doubt of the strength of feeling. I was proud to be involved, but I was also ashamed that such action was necessary.
