Football: Tom torment for new boys
RICHARD STEWARTTOMMY McCallion wrecked Premier League newcomers Armagh City's hopes of a winning start with an 80th minute winner at Holm Park.
For more than an hour Colin Malone's City had led the game, after Barry Meehan stabbed home a third minute goal from Mark Carlisle's cross.
But on 65 minutes, after Mark Turkington was penalised for a hand ball on the edge of his area, David Ogilby curled a free-kick around the City wall and past keeper Paul Rice to level the score.
McCallion grabbed the winner for Institute when he turned defender David Fairclough and fired home a low shot with just ten minutes remaining on the clock.
It was a result, with three points away from home on the opening day, which certainly delighted Institute boss Pascal Vaudequin.
In contrast City manager Colin Malone was left disappointed and without a point on the day his club played their first ever match in the Irish Premier League.
