Parents lay a tribute in flowers
ANDREW BLACKRORY'S parents yesterday laid flowers near the spot where his body was found.
Russell Blackhall, his wife Michelle and Rory's 14-year-old brother Conal spent an emotional 15 minutes looking at the dozens of flowers already left by well-wishers in Livingston, West Lothian.
Before the family laid their bunch of thistles and lavender, tied with a tartan ribbon, Rory's mother wept as she read the tributes by other people.
The card they left read: "Rory Pory, you are always with us in our thoughts and in our hearts. Our wee Rory, we love you."
Sympathisers kept placing flowers at the shrine to the youngster yesterday.
One card said: "Rory, we don't know why yet but we will find the answer. Rest peacefully with the angels. God will take care of you now."
Another said: "One thousand words couldn't explain how sad and angry we feel. We hope you are at peace with the angels."
Another card which had been left with flowers simply asked: "WHY?"
Around 800 calls have been made to police since the murder investigation began on Tuesday.
