WITH yet another huge handout to that white elephant we call the Millennium Dome, the Lottery Commission should be congratulated for doing what most people thought impossible - they've managed to turn an expensive farce into a national obscenity. How many worthwhile causes would have benefited from a fraction of that pounds 46m? I don't suppose it would do any good asking the Lottery Commission - they're obviously living on a different planet.
