NEW Dundee United boss Alex Smith believes we are in for the most thrilling Premier finish in years. After the first month's action the Scotland Under 21 coach says: "With Martin O'Neill on board you can already see a much more productive attitude at Celtic.

"But they would be making a huge mistake if they believe that Sunday's win means that Rangers are ready to hoist the white flag.

"They will react in a positive, aggressive way and rather than making them vulnerable that setback will see them revert to dangerous mode. Elsewhere I have been impressed by the start made by Hibs under Alex McLeish and they are my favourites to finish third.

"At Dundee United, I am aiming to introduce the same stability that Celtic now have."
