SignalSoft invests in Korean distribution partner - Business - Ahead Mobile Inc - Brief Article

SignalSoft announced an equity investment of approximately $300,000 in Ahead Mobile Inc., SignalSoft's Korean distribution partner. These funds will be utilized by Ahead Mobile for marketing and product development, specifically for a Cross Carrier Gateway (CCG) that will allow subscribers to seamlessly access location-based services from one or many mobile operators. Embedded in Ahead Mobile's CCG is SignalSoft's Location Studio product (formerly Access Manager) that provides key capabilities of privacy and authentication to protect subscriber information. The CCG will be the first product to make inter-carrier location-based services (LBS) available to Korean mobile operators.
