IA Corp. announces new CheckVision exception item processing software to help banks automate and simplify internal exception item processes

CheckVision Exception Item Processing allows banks to immediately sort and send critical item information and images of items to specified employees with various skill levels or approval limits. In addition, work can be routed by location or cut-off times to speed and balance the workload throughout the organization. Items can also be reconciled and coded by exception category. This provides banks a number of benefits including minimized write-offs, lower sorter maintenance, reduced overtime and the elimination of manual film retrievals for copies of lost items.

Because CheckVision Exception Item Processing electronically transmits check and item images, banks no longer have to physically sort or handdeliver exception items. All additional sorting is also eliminated because batches of items are grouped electronically into categories such as signature verification, overdraft, stop payment or unposted items.
