Star Technologies subsidiary Curran Data Technologies awarded U.S. Army imaging contract
Star Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:STRR) announced its subsidiary Curran Data Technologies, Inc. (CDT) has been awarded an imaging outsourcing contract by the U.S. Army. Under the terms of the contract, CDT will scan U.S. Army enlisted personnel records and convert them into optical disk images that can be stored in the Army's online PERMS system. In total, CDT will scan and index more than 4.3 million images over the life of the one-year contract. The contract will be performed on site at the U.S. Army Enlisted Records and Evaluation Center (EREC) at Fort Harrison in Indianapolis, IN.
