Waukesha Memorial
The Waukesha Memorial Hospital Foundation has announced a campaign to raise $2.5 million for four program areas.
The campaign, dubbed "Building a Healthy Future," will help finance these programs:
In cardiology, funds will go to an electrophysiology component, which treats electrical problems of the heart.
In oncology, the money will help expand and renovate both the medical and radiation areas for the program.
For the Center for Breast Care, some funds will be sought for comprehensive breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
A new ambulatory surgery center, which still awaits approval from the Wisconsin Cost Containment Commission. It is intended to alleviate a crowded day surgery area.
