Nissan - to build research center in Belgium
NISSAN
NISSAN, the Japanese car manufacturer, has cleared one of the remaining hurdles in its project to set up a European research center in Belgium. The commune of Mont-St-Guibert, near Wavre, has given the go-ahead for the sale of 3.65 hectares of land to the Japanese firm. The first stone of the 750 million BEF project is to be laid in September, and the center's facilities are expected to be inaugurated late next year.
