In response to Vegan Cakes Made Simple in Issue 4, 2003, and cake recipes available at <www.vrg.org>:

Thank you!!!!! My child is allergic to milk and eggs and so I have been fretting over his birthday cake. The question is: "What do I fix for him so that his birthday is enjoyable for him and everyone else?" I am so happy to find a vegan recipe for cake. Although our family is not vegetarian, I have been in the past, and it is greatly appreciated that these recipes are available for vegetarians and others alike.
