Your letters: No crisis in Cuba
D DickinsonI COMMEND Carole Malone on her article "Keep The Monsters In Chains", regarding the treatment of al-Qaeda and Taliban prisoners held captive in Cuba by US forces.
Her sentiments are almost certainly echoed by the vast majority of Britons.
If the shoe were on the other foot, would these terrorists abide by the rules of the Geneva Convention?
They should suffer the consequences of their actions. The treachery of Britons who went to fight with the Taliban is unforgivable and they should never be allowed to set foot in this country again without the penalty of imprisonment along with any other terrorist sympathisers.
It's time for do-gooders to wake up to reality and accept that the softly-softly approach is no longer an option as far as these dangerous fanatics are concerned.
