Bar's Ibiza bonus for Millennium staff

BAR staff are being offered a high-flying bonus for working on Millennium Eve - a week in Ibiza.

The 35 workers at the Fusion bar, Swindon, Wilts, will get free flights and accommodation in January. No one has turned it down.

Operations director Rob Lawrence, 37, said workers will also be paid the double time for New Year's Eve.

He said: "We couldn't afford to pay the rates talked about in the media so we decided to offer a free holiday instead."

Staff will go out in two batches, so the pub can stay open. Barmaid Kelly Trindell, 20, said: "It will be great because we all get on so well."
