Strange bedfellows
John R. ButlerI enjoyed your article on raccoons in the current BoatU.S. Magazine. My regular visitor on The Old Cat is a water snake, and all he/she leaves is old skins. I took one to my friendly Corps Ranger and he said it is a harmless water snake. Snakes don't bother me, but I apparently bother this one, as he goes overboard if I surprise him. We get along fine that way. Just so long as he doesn't crawl into my sleeping bag some night when I am anchored out!
