CRUFT'S MURDERS MAN HELD
BRIAN FARMERDETECTIVES investigating the murders of a dog breeder and her 89- year-old mother were yesterday questioning a man.
Janice Sheridan, 45, and her mother Constance were found stabbed to death at their isolated home in Upwell, Norfolk, in January.
Detective Superintendent Ian Sturgess, leading the investigation, said the man was from West Norfolk and is being interviewed at a Norfolk police station. Janice Sheridan was a well-known whippet breeder who had been due to show a dog at Cruft's this year.
The women had not been seen for two days before they were found after neighbours raised the alarm.
The case was featured on BBC TV's Crimewatch programme last month.
