THE CYBER MODEL; Techno babe fronts cinema bra adverts
CLAIRE COLLINSWATCH out Eva Herzigova and Sophie Anderton - the world's first cyber bra model is about to give you a run for your money.
Gorgeous Trina, who makes current computer screen queen Lara Croft look archaic, will hit cinemas later this month in bra makers Triumph's new advertising campaign.
Clad in just her underwear, she will entice movie audiences to buy the new Triumph Softwear range.
PR executives claim the techno babe is set to change the face of advertising.
"She looks unbelievably real yet she doesn't have any of the tantrums supermodels are famous for," said Sue Loader of Triumph.
"She's not always late, she doesn't have a mobile phone permanently attached to her ear and she will do anything we ask of her.
"To have a model who is perfectly co-operative is a dream come true for any company. If I was a model, I would be worried.""
State-of-the-art technology was used to make Trina look as natural as possible and a real girl helped with the design process.
Trina's life-like movements are based on footage of a model dancing.
A hi-tech rig fitted out with 17 cameras took thousands of snaps in sequence which were then run through a computer to control Trina's actions.
The advert is the first in a series which is expected to run like the Nescafe Gold Blend campaign with a storyline like a TV soap.
Trina is set to fall in love but her cyber romeo is being kept under wraps at the moment.
Triumph is currently working on new ideas including a heat- activated range which moulds itself to the wearer.
