Snooker: Ebdon back in the big time
JOHN DEEROCK solid Peter Ebdon reached his first major final for over two years in Plymouth yesterday.
Ebdon defeated Irishman Joe Swail 6-3 completing an impressive victory with a total clearance of 129.
"I'm determined to find out how good I am at this game. I want to be one of the best players around, if not the best," said Ebdon, 29.
The Wellingborough based professional is even considering selling his "beloved" racehorses.
"That shows how serious I am, I don't want any distractions.
"I'm spot on for this tournament, I've felt confident all week," added Ebdon who faces Stephen Hendry or Ronnie O'Sullivan in today's final.
