Indonesia's Excelcom to license Comverse SMS

Excelcom, Indonesia's third GSM operator, has signed an agreement with Comverse for the supply of SMS software.

Comverse's technology provides Excelcom with a one-stop SMS solution, allowing them the ability to offer notification services, mobile-originated short message services, SMS banking and various entertainment services such as ring tone downloads to their existing 800,000 customers.
