India's Bharti TeleVentures profits on the increase

Bharti TeleVentures Ltd has achieved "near break-even" with cash losses in the third quarter ending December 2002 down to just Rs 7 crore compared to Rs 129 crore in the second quarter this fiscal.

According to an official statement, quoted by The Business Line, the company posted operating profits of Rs 240 crore, up 98 per cent from Rs 121 crore in the previous quarter. It has also achieved a 29 per cent rise in its revenues at Rs 847 crore as against Rs 658 crore. (Worlditreport.com)
