COACH driver David Howarth took 45 passengers on a marital mystery tour...to his own wedding.

The holidaymakers - on a three-day tour of Scotland - didn't realise it was David, 26, who would be saying "I do" at Gretna Green to one of his passengers...his fiancee Laura Anderton, 19.

"I had already asked Laura to come on the trip," said David, from Rawtenstall, Lancashire.

"Then my boss said it would be a good idea for us to get married as we were up that way.

"I told the passengers they were invited to a wedding - but I didn't say whose."

Straight after the ceremony the newlyweds and their "guests" trooped back on the coach.

"It was a great tour, a wedding and a honeymoon all rolled into one," said David.
