Once and Future Queen

   Glisten in your pristine splendor,
   Mosetta, my dear.
   Your magnificent indigo/ebony
   is an aboriginal epic written
   in melanin; Isis of beginnings:
   Archetypal Image preceding
   "Eve" and the Semite World!
   You are seed of the legendary
   Great Mother,
   Whose munificence nurtured the
   "Naked Ape."
   Ancient Evenings smile with the glow
   of your brilliant teeth embraced by
   the regal chalice of full lips,
   pleasuring my moods, assuaging
   volcanic expressions; causing a cool,
   Nile inundation
      to soothe my Maroon passion,
          as I
        contemplate
      a Palmares future ...
