DUE TO AN EDITING ERROR, THE DIScrepancy between Web-site ratings figures and sites' internal records was mischaracterized in "The Danger of Trading on Ratings" [July 24]. The range is from 15 percent of the number of pageviews reported to 300 percent of the sites' figures.
