Polemon (Resident of Egypt)Date: 3rd year of Ptolemy IX Soter II, 4th of the Egyptian month Choiak
Translation: Polemon to Polemon, greeting. I have written to Artemidoros the collector to stop work at Kerkeosiris until he proceeds to the city, and that Aristippos will come to an understanding with him. Do not therefore run away from anybody, for at present you have no produce. If he gives you trouble go up with him. Good-bye. The 3rd year, Choiak 4. (Addressed on the verso) To Polemon.
