Fowling up - The Fans Speak Out
Alex RossI can't believe that Liverpool and Robbie Fowler have parted. To many Reds fans, Fowler was the epitome of the new, brash, wildly talented Liverpool team.
Maybe Liverpool will now make a run at another expendable, star striker such as Manchester United's Dwight Yorke, but it simply will not be the same.
First Steve McManaman and now Fowler. I guess the "Spice Boys" lasted barely longer than the Spice Girls. (Of course, the "Boys" are much more worthwhile than their musical counterparts--and if you don't believe me, just ask David Beckham, who will find himself jealously watching Liverpool capture the Premiership this season.)
