Finnish Venture Company Sets up Japanese Entity

Data Feros, a Finnish venture company, will be establishing a Japanese subsidiary. The company will be marketing anti-virus and data surveillance software. With the recent international problems concerning computer viruses and security, the company has decided that there is room for growth in the Japanese market for this type of software. Data Feros was founded in Helsinki in 1988, and in 1998 had sales of 4 billion yen, which doubled their 1997 results. Eighty percent of the sales are to overseas companies and governments.
