Nature
Mary S. McCarthyAnyone interested in nature photography will want to pay special attention to this July 2000 issue of the PSA Journal, featuring the Nature Division. This is an event which occurs only once every two years. Read it carefully and you will not only learn more about the Division, but you may get new ideas for nature photography.
Albuquerque Conference
All PSA members are invited to visit the Nature Division Center ("Den") at the Albuquerque Conference. The ND Center is a source of information about all the services and activities of the division. Check your conference program for the hours when the center will be open.
The center will have the latest information on our library of instructional and exhibition slide sets and how to obtain them. Special slides will be available for viewing. Here you will be able to register your interest in joining a slide study circuit--a great forum for the exchange of ideas and techniques. There will be entry forms available for various PSA-sanctioned competitions. Nature Division members on duty at the center will be able to answer any questions you may have about the division and its services and activities.
If you can volunteer an hour or two of your time to help in the center, please contact Marilyn Cloran, APSA, 802 Humphrey St., Swampscott, MA 01907. She can be reached by FAX at 781-592-9996 or E-mail: rcloran@shore.net or just volunteer at the conference.
