American Portfolios
The American Portfolios is a print activity for PSA members. A Creative Image print portfolio is being organized to start within the next few months. PSA members having a knack for creating stylish or contemporary images may be interested in this portfolio.
To start, any type of print can be submitted: self-made, commercially-made, computer-printed; the print can be monochrome or color. Emphasis will be on the final image, not the print type or how the image was created. Images may be created in the camera, in the darkroom, or by electronic means. Images need not be manipulative and might be poetic, having journalistic expression.
Members looking to expand their photographic expression in new directions are being recruited for this portfolio. Indications of interest should be directed to: Richard Collier, Director-American Portfolios, 1207 Electric, Gardena, CA 90248, e-mail: dickcoll@aol.com.
