A Bevy of Beasts. - book reviews
Theodore R. BabuMagnificent in concept, narrative, production, and evocative value, this book should be an addition to every nature photographer's library. And, those interested in preserving species facing imminent danger of extinction will find in this book carefully collated classification.
Edward Mendell has given us a panoramic view of mammals, predators and waterlife around the world in such a comparatively thin volume. Data provided in script is specific to the species, and it is fascinating that he has not forgotten to include one of the smallest of God's creatures, the glow worm (Elateridae Pyrophorus). The Photographs are uniformly crisp, colorful and professional.
