The Art of Infrared Photography. - book reviews
Susan RosenthalThe Art of Infrared Photography
If you have ever admired an infrared photograph this book is for you. Joseph Paduano is a teacher, businessman and photographer who does not dabble in the medium but works primarily in B&W infrared photography.
There are no complicated charts and pages of highly technical mathematical calculations to overwhelm the novice. The author is concerned with how infrared film works and not why it does. Paduano discusses and shows examples of the techniques in using B&W infrared film for artistic rather than technical purposes.
The Art of Infrared Photography is highly readable and does what an instructional book on photography should do; it encourages the reader to get out there and try it.
