ImageReady offers simple tools for editing and compressing Web-ready graphics, but if you're looking for a one-stop Web graphics facility, you'll be disappointed. The program includes no special tools for creating buttons or other Web-specific elements - Adobe expects you to do your primary work in another application, such as Photoshop.

ImageReady's solid interface for compressing images gives you "before" and "after" views as well as statistics on size and download time. Unfortunately, you can't view several compressions at once.

While ImageReady has some good features, we wish it were a more thorough Web production tool.
