COMING TUESDAY: IN Life takes weekly look at health
Jamie Tobias Neely/Features editorFinding the pursuit of good health more confusing than ever?
Turn to the IN Life section for help. Starting Tuesday, we're devoting a weekly section to the topic of health and fitness. We'll interview the experts and give you the information you need to make the wisest choices available about your own health -- and your family's health as well.
Stories will reflect the questions doctors hear most. As we launch the section in the coming weeks, we'll help you figure out how to take up running and deal with sports injuries. We'll even help you stock your home first-aid kit.
This section will focus on both mainstream and alternative medicine, research news, women's and men's health, aging, fitness and nutrition. Here you'll find a column called People's Pharmacy, designed to answer your questions on conventional and alternative remedies, a health column by Spokane physician Stacie Bering, local briefs on emerging health trends, listings of upcoming classes and more.
To make room for this new section, we'll move some features around. Starting on June 9, you'll find the Pets page inside the IN Life section on Sundays. Our popular column, The Bond by Dr. Marty Becker, will now appear weekly there, joined by other favorite Pets page features.
Look for the changes starting Tuesday, and let us know what you think.
