A search for candidates for 2002 - five awards offered by Photographic Society of America - Brief Article
Andrew M. WimsThe five prestigious Certain Society Memorial awards are: John Doscher, Victor Scales, Stuyvesant Peabody, PSA Appreciation, and the Early Achievement awards. The Harold D. Lorimor award is replaced by the Early Achievement award, with slightly different requirements as described below.
One very important change for nominations for 2002 is that one proposer and two endorsers will now be required for each award. In addition, a new simplified form is available from PSA Headquarters. Send the completed application forms to the current Certain Society Awards Committee Chairperson, Thelma Beers, APSA, 6115 Lincoln Dr. #143, Edina, MN, 55436. Let's put forth the small effort required to recognize persons who have devoted tremendous time and energy to the photographic community. It is important that all applications be submitted by March 1, 2002.
