Christine plans to reveal all

CHRISTINE Hamilton is to go on stage with a witty routine lifting the lid on Tory tittle-tattle and House of Commons gossip.

The wife of disgraced former Tory MP Neil Hamilton joins a troupe of famous actors named in the new brochure of the English Theatre Company which has just gone out to promoters and theatres.

Also set to tread the boards around Britain are Honor Blackman, Sian Phillips, Peter Barkworth and Hannah Gordon.

Mrs Hamilton - at the centre of sex assault allegations which she and her husband have vigorously denied - is described in the brochure as a controversial figure and is shown posing with a battleaxe.

Her revue offers to "lift the veil on the not-so- discreet world of Westminster" in conversation with political commentator Ian Dale.

Organiser Clive Conway said: "Christine promises lots of humour. She is an excellent performer."
