Radar: I'M KIAN TO WED JODI
SUZANNE KERINS WITH GUEST EDITORS... WESTLIFENICKY Byrne is often invited to take tea and cake with the Taoiseach. The singing star is, as we all know, married to Bertie Ahern's daughter Georgina. Nicky gushes: "It was a bit weird at first I suppose. But I've got used to it now. Bertie's a great man."HI, guys! Kian Egan of Westlife here. Mark, Nicky, Shane and I have teamed up with Suzanne to edit Radar this week.
And it's brilliant to be here, especially as you all probably saw us winning ITV1's Record Of The Year last night - and thanks for your votes we certainly had a few pints of Guiness to celebrate.
Now the question fans always ask me is: What's the latest with me and Jodi Albert?
Well, we've just set up home in Chelsea - next door to billionaire Roman Abramovich.
Jodi - lots of you will know her from her time playing Debbie Dean in Hollyoaks - is a great girl.
We're very happy together and yes, we'd like to get married someday.
Jodi and I have bought all our furniture for our new house. She's taken possession of our spare room and turned it into an Indian- themed room, painting it gold and filling it with loads of cushions and a mattress on the floor.
I'm not complaining. At least that means I can sit on the sofa in the lounge and watch the TV in peace...
I'm the cook in the house, but Jodi is getting better at it now.
Westlife have been having a really busy month and we'll finish just two days before Christmas.
We had a real nightmare a couple of weeks ago when we were rushed off a plane after its engines burst into flames minutes before take- off in South Africa.
All of us were out of our seats and everyone was pushing each other to get off the plane. It was really terrifying.
But it hasn't been all doom and gloom. We've teamed up with Diana Ross for our new single, When You Tell Me That You Love Me. Working with her was just brilliant.
NICKY Byrne interrupts: "All of us thought Diana was going to be a real diva, but she wasn't.
"OK, everyone called her Ms Ross, but that's as far as her diva demands went. Before she left she said, 'Call me next time you are in LA.' I definitely will. My father-in-law Bertie Ahern is a big fan."
