Are teens comfortable watching movies with parents?
Nick ParkerTwo of our high school reporters asked their peers how they would feel about watching their favorite movies with their parents.
"I would feel comfortable watching my favorite movies with my parents because we saw some of my favorite movies to begin with. My dad introduced me to 'Star Wars.' " -- Kyle Ford, senior, Murray High School
"No, I would not feel comfortable. There are some that they wouldn't want me to see. Too bad, I like them." -- Michael Williams, senior, Murray
"Yes. I don't have anything to hide from them, I guess." -- Jessica Steele, junior, Bingham High School
"As long as they don't have any nudity in them. Violence is fine, language is fine, just not the nakedness." -- Bryson Breivik, junior, Murray
"Not my favorite movies, no." -- C.J. Lederman, junior, Murray
"Yes. I watch good movies that are up to that of the standard of my parents." -- Tyler Walker, sophomore, Bingham
"No, it's the language thing, and it's the, 'Oh look, there are people making out,' thing. I don't want my parents watching that while I'm around." -- Amanda Anderson, senior, Murray
"Yes. They are good movies that can be enjoyed by many people." - - Zach Wilson, junior, Bingham
"Yeah, because my mom is cool and she explains stuff sometimes." - - Marissa Groce, sophomore, Murray
