Titan's second generations - Off-road Tires

Titan says the features that made its AT 489 line of ATV tires so popular are retained in the new Titan 489 X/T Front tire. This second generation tire, it says, has a virtually identical contour and contact patch. Design enhancements, however, reportedly improve both cosmetic appeal and performance. The company also says the tire weight is equal or lesser than stock, decreasing the burden on the drive train compared to other aftermarket tires. A rugged 6-ply-rated construction is said to offer stability, durability and puncture resistance, and dimpled tread elements combine with a superior rubber compound to promote greater traction and a softer ride. Sizes include AT23x7-10, AT23x8-10, AT23x8-11, AT24x8-11, AT23x8-12, AT24x8-12, AT24x9-12 and AT25x8-12.

The Titan 489 X/T Rear tire is the suggested complement to the 489 X/T Front. Excellent all-around traction in 2WD and 4WD applications is the promise. The rear tire features all the enhancements of the front and comes in the following sizes: AT22x11-10, AT23x10-10, AT24x11-10, AT24x11.5-10, AT25x11-10, AT24x9-11, AT24x10-11, AT23x10-12, AT24x11-12, AT25x10-12, AT25x11-12 and AT26x10-12.

Just as the 489 X/T builds on the heritage of the AT 489, the Titan 589 M/T is the second generation of the AT 589. Stepped lugs reportedly provide strengthened elements for greater stability and increased tread life. The deepest lug depth available is combined with "Max Traction Ridges" between elements to provide superior traction in the most challenging environments. Sizes include AT25x12-10, AT24x8-11, AT25x8-11, AT25x10-11, AT25x8-12, AT25x10-12, AT26x9-12, AT26x12-12, AT27x9-12, AT27x11-12, AT28x9-12 and AT28x11-12.

Finally, Titan calls its Titan Grizz LSW 589 M/T the newest concept in ATV tire design. "The LSW redefines traction and stability," says Titan, "and yes, these tires can even run flat."
