The taste of sadness - GlobeTrotter - Poem
Paige ElbergerThe Taste of Sadness I can hear my heart pounding as I hear gunshots in the background. I can see the smoky gray odor rising into the air in the distance. I can remember how it all started when I started to run away from it all. I can taste the cries making tension throughout my body. I can feel the ground shaking beneath my feet. I can see the blue light at the end of my journey.
