I WAS disgusted to read the Duke of Devonshire is trying to stop an Irish company running a ferry on a river in Waterford.

The company are planning to carry tourists along the river in a Florida style air-boat.

But the Duke is complaining the boat will disturb the peace in his posh Waterford home.

I hope the noise makes the Duke realise the country is not arranged for his personal comfort. The company will provide jobs for local people and help revitalise an area of the country.

I'm sure the Duke has enough money to buy a good pair of gold- plated earplugs to block out the noise.
