I HAD to laugh at all the headlines hailing Sven Goran Eriksson for finally getting tough and taking the "sensational" decision to drop Rio Ferdinand (above).

Talk about a no-brainer! Rio's form has been so bad there was no way Eriksson could leave him in the side ahead of Sol Campbell.

Despite that, Eriksson still umm-ed and aah-ed about it for days before giving Campbell the nod.
