PHEASANT THAT'S VERY UNPLEASANT
ALASTAIR ROBERTSONAN artist aiming to cut the road death toll of wild creatures has created the Pheasant Bomb Kit.
David Blyth's bizarre device consists of a litre of red paint inside a container covered with a pheasant skin and is intended to make motorists feel guilty.
The 24-year-old from Aberdeen has unveiled the bomb to coincide with the pheasant shooting season. He tested a road hit on a prototype bird using a friend's car, which got splashed with red paint.
David said yesterday: "There is a lot of hysteria about hunting, but we kill millions of animals each year on the roads."
He is offering the Pheasant Bomb Kit as a sculpture for the high- flying price of pounds 350.
