2 PRINCES CHARMING
PAT HURSTHIGH society's wedding of the year had a strong royal presence yesterday - despite a behind-the-scenes wrangle which saw Prince Charles pull out.
Princes William and Harry were ushers and the Queen and Prince Philip were guests of honour at the wedding of Lady Tamara Grosvenor, daughter of Britain's richest man the Duke of Westminster, to banker Edward van Cutsem.
Morning-suited Wills and Harry turned up at Chester Cathedral to calls of "marry me" from girls in the crowd. They showed the Duke and Duchess of Kent and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester to their seats then greeted their gran with a kiss.
Lady Tamara, 24, received the biggest cheer of all when she arrived - late, of course - in a vintage Rolls with her father, who is worth pounds 4billion.
More than 650 VIPs turned up, but Charles and mistress Camilla stayed away after the seating plan relegated her to a back row.
