'I go through different fashion phases, I'm probably too late for the bohemian look, but I've just bought some flat boots and criss- cross tights anyway. I like shopping at boutiques when I need a dress for a party - I recently wore a dress by Jason Ansell, a very up-and- coming Liverpool designer, to an awards do, but I don't have a lot of designer labels. I'm more of a high street girl - you can get such fantastic things from H&M and Topshop. I don't spend a crazy amount on clothes, but I do love dressing up. I like backless dresses, because then you can be sexy without being tarty!

When I'm going out at weekends, I'll wear a pair of jeans, a funky top from Selfridges or Cricket, a Liverpool boutique, and some high boots - I'm only 5ft 5in, so I like a bit of height. Diesel jeans are my favourites, and I've just bought a tweed jacket from Gap, which I think is very SJP. I love the autumn fashions this year - I like the textures, and the colours like pea green and burnt orange. I'm definitely due a shopping session soon. Top of my list this winter are brown leather boots, and a fake fur coat.'

'I like to think my style is funky and modern. I love jeans - my favourite pair are by Paper Denim & Cloth, which cost pounds 150, but I also wear River Island. I prefer casual clothes - I'm a trainers and flat boots girl - and I'm quite sporty so I wear trackie bottoms a lot.

Liverpool's great for shopping, London is too frantic. I buy fashionable trends, but because they don't last long, I tend to get them from H&M and TK Maxx. I love eBay too. I got a pair of cowboy boots with real spurs on there for pounds 70.

For award dos, I like to go designer. I recently wore a fairy- like black dress which was gorgeous, except I caught my heel in it when I got out of the car which made me a bit nervous. It never occurs to me someone else might be wearing the same thing, and I'll happily wear high-street frocks to posh parties. For the Disney Awards, I wore a Miss Selfridge skirt and a River Island top, and for the National TV Awards, my dress was from New Look - I loved it.'
