Navy Training Management planning system is redesigned

The Navy Training Management and Planning System (NTMPS), the Navy's official repository for training information data, has undergone a significant redesign to increase efficiency of the system and ease of use for NTMPS customers.

According to Martha Maddux, NTMPS Program Manager at the Naval Education and Training Command, the new design offers users easier access to NTMPS information and reports, decreasing the time they are required to be on the system to retrieve the data needed.

NTMPS offers a number of standard manpower, personnel and training reports, as well as an option to develop customized reports, as needed. Due to the redesign, all previously built custom reports must be reformatted to comply with new database elements. Customer service representatives at the NTMPS Help Desk are available to assist in this process.

To apply for an NTMPS account, or for assistance in using the system, contact the NTMPS Support Office toll-free at (866)-438-2898. Customer service representatives are available weekdays from 6:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Central time. Messages left after hours will he handled the next working day.
