Town hall team give drug tips
JAMES FIELDINGA COUNCIL team have been disciplined for producing a drugs booklet advising young people to snort cocaine off tiles and mirrors to avoid leaving evidence for the police.
Other tips given out in the Safe2Dance booklet from the Coventry Community Safety Partnership included not eating before taking ketamine, a horse tranquilliser.
The Health Department paid pounds 10,000 for 5,000 leaflets and posters to be printed and distributed around clubs and bars in Coventry city centre.
Instead they were pulped and a council spokeswoman confirmed: "There has been disciplinary action after an internal investigation."
The CCSP added: "Some advice in the booklet was unacceptable because it seemed to encourage criminal activity."
