OH, TANKS A LOT

A MAN whose stolen car was recovered didn't have long to celebrate ... two days later it was flattened by a tank.

The Ministry Of Defence rang Malcolm Poole, 24, to tell him his Ford Sierra had been found on a Salisbury Plain firing range and moved to safety. But a soldier then ran over it in his 50-ton Chieftain. Now Malcolm, of Swindon, is suing the MoD who say they can't find the guilty driver.

He says: "It's just outrageous - people are driving tanks around and no one seems to know who they are."
