Your Voice: Reader's letter
G LynchI WAS disgusted to read that the Southern Health Board is claiming it can't afford to give newborn babies the life-saving BCG vaccine.
Your story claims this health board has one of the biggest budgets for 2004 - but still needs e1million more to vaccinate.
How come other, poorer boards can manage their duty in this respect?
Surely the SHB should budget the money they are allocated better to ensure the BCG is given before there is an outbreak of TB in Ireland.
