Dining in Vilnius - Travelers' Intercom: readers' opinions, tips & recommendations - Brief Article
Margo WilsonOn a visit to Vilnius, Lithuania, in July '03, we ate dinner at the restaurant in the Mano Liza Hotel (Ligonines Gatve 5, Vilnius, Lithuania; e-mail hotel@aaa.lt).
I had a cheese-and-onion smoked-salmon soup and potato pancakes with meat, and my husband had pork with peach sauce, baked pear and mashed potatoes. It all was delicious and very reasonable in price, about $15 including one beer and a glass of wine.
The breakfast, too, included in the room price of the hotel ($80), was cooked to order and was exceptionally good, especially the crepes (see Nov. '03, pg. 56).
The Baltics are still great bargains.
