Ordinary Resurrections. - Review - audiobook review
Paulette L. RobinsonOrdinary Resurrections by Jonathan Kozol, as read by Dick Hill Brilliance Audio, $29.95, ISBN 1-56740-370-0, 6 of cassettes total listening time 9 hours
Dick Hill boldly discusses issues that plague inner city America, where the children are just that -- children. Hill is unfortunately monotone and unconvincing in his representation of the children. At times it's almost laughable when he attempts to mimic the slang spoken by the children. But this audio book carries enough weight that the listener will be able to find value beyond the aridity and gain appreciation and empowerment from the message.
