More on gay lit
Lisa C. MooreThank you for the wonderful series of articles focused on black gay and lesbian writing, archiving and bookselling (BIBR, July-August 2004). As a longtime subscriber to BIBR, I have long wondered why there has been scant attention paid to the continuing efforts of black gay and lesbian writers in your magazine. (I rarely see documentation of our GLBT lives in any leading black magazine, actually.) The articles are a big step in the right direction. Kudos to the editors for inviting submissions for future OUT columns; it's so validating to know that you're planning to include our voices. I hope to see more of our work--black and GLBT--in upcoming issues.
