To be or not to be - late - Brief Article

Rebecca Harris

Putting off college applications? You'll fit right in with college undergraduates. According to a study by Questia Media, 95 percent of college students say they procrastinate "very frequently" or "somewhat frequently." Instead of writing papers, students say they prefer to watch sports on TV (23 percent), surf the Internet (17 percent), or sleep (13 percent). Good news, though: despite their tendency to put off assignments till the last minute, 71 percent of the procrastinators in the study say they maintain a GPA of 3.0 of higher.
